SERVICE TERMS

The website explains the offer. The signed order controls the work.

Effective and last updated: August 28, 2026

Provider and application

Machine & Proof is a service brand operated by Sequoia GEO LLC. Submitting an application does not create a client relationship, reserve capacity, or authorize a charge. Work begins only after the provider accepts a signed order in writing.

Founding service and price

The Public Evidence Audit is a $500 fixed-scope diagnostic for an accepted US local service business. The signed order identifies the client, website, scope, delivery date, and authorized contact. No advance payment or account access is required. The provider will not add a charge above the stated customer-facing total without a signed amendment.

Formation and cancellation

A client signature is an offer to purchase. The order becomes binding only after written provider acceptance through a timely human countersignature. An automated acknowledgment, platform completion label, or signature certificate is not provider acceptance. The signed order uses MP-CAL-2026-001. The signature's Pacific local date is an uncounted anchor, and the next eligible date is Day 1. Unless accepted sooner, the offer expires at 5:00:00.000 PM Pacific on the third counted business day. Provider acceptance must occur strictly before that instant; acceptance at the exact instant is late and requires a new order. The signed order contains the literal 2026 excluded dates, the later-closure rule, and the year-end limit. The client signer represents authority to bind the named business. The client may withdraw before acceptance or cancel in writing without a fee before qualifying delivery.

Timing and evidence guarantee

The same MP-CAL-2026-001 schedule controls delivery. The Pacific local date of timely provider acceptance is an uncounted anchor, and the next eligible date is Day 1. Qualifying delivery is due no later than 5:00:00.000 PM Pacific on the fifth counted business day. Delivery at that exact instant is timely; delivery one millisecond later is late. Every reported finding must identify and be reasonably supported by retained evidence from the audit period. If delivery is late or a reported finding lacks that evidence, no invoice is issued. If an invoice was issued or paid despite a covered failure, it will be voided or the full $500 will be refunded through the original payment rail after the failure is confirmed.

Evidence challenges

A client may challenge a finding during the 12-month evidence-retention period by identifying it and providing a linked primary source or explaining the evidence gap. A fresh review will be documented, and the relevant evidence record will be provided subject to lawful redaction and third-party rights. One confirmed unsupported finding triggers the full guarantee remedy. When a live source later changes, the retained evidence determines what the source showed during the audit period. The guarantee does not promise agreement with the client's interpretation.

AI and data boundary

AI systems select and analyze public sources, draft findings, and rank the proposed fixes. A submitted business question supplies context but is not evidence for a finding. Credentials, contact details, unique identifiers, and nonpublic customer facts are excluded from model prompts under the order. A human authorizes external responses, order acceptance, report delivery, invoices, refunds, publication, and account changes.

Scope limits

The audit uses public sources and is a dated diagnostic. It is not legal, licensing, regulatory, accounting, reputation, or cybersecurity advice. It does not guarantee rankings, citations, recommendations, traffic, leads, jobs booked, sales, or implementation. Public information can change after delivery.

Client responsibilities

The client must provide accurate entity and contact information, confirm authority to order the service, and avoid submitting credentials or nonpublic customer information. The client decides whether and how to implement any recommendation.

Confidentiality, publicity, and report use

The provider will not identify the client, publish the report, display client marks, or quote nonpublic correspondence without written permission. Aggregate deidentified experiment measurements may be reported. After qualifying delivery and payment, the signed order grants the client a business-use license to the report while the provider retains its preexisting methods and templates. Third-party source material remains subject to its owners' rights.

Payment and acceptance

The $500 invoice is issued only after qualifying delivery and is due within 15 calendar days under the signed order. No late fee applies in Cycle 1. A paid invoice counts as a purchase. An application, conversation, or signed order without payment does not count as a purchase in the public experiment ledger.

Controlling agreement

Before execution, this page describes the Version C1-003 service terms and creates no contract or obligation. After timely execution by both parties, the completed order form controls if it conflicts with this page. The separate Sequoia GEO website's general terms and refund policy do not apply to a Machine & Proof order. The executed order contains the complete liability, warranty, governing-law, venue, dispute, intellectual-property, electronic-record, and data terms. No order will be accepted while those terms are incomplete.
